Q&A: Do prefer cars, trucks, or SUV’s?

Question by Special Edd: Do prefer cars, trucks, or SUV’s?
I like cars to drive on long trips because they are the most comfortable, I would like to keep an old truck around to do odd jobs and for hauling stuff

I prefer public transportation. It’s cheaper, clean for the environment and I don’t have to do the driving.

I prefer cars since I live in a city, and need one to get around. We do not have the most “reliable” public transit system here. Also, I like cars because they are more fuel efficient than the other types of vehicles.

Trucks, always. Right now I want a Nissan Titan, and I can’t stand driving a car because I don’t like being low to the ground. I learned to drive in a 1976 Ford Econoline van, they don’t make ‘em like that anymore!

I just bought a MAV (Multi-Activity Vehicle) and I LOVE it. It’s a Mazda 5 and it seats six. It functions like a van but handles like a car. It is seriously AWESOME!!

I live in a big city, so I prefer a car. If I lived where the wild antelope roam, I’d want a truck with a nice gun rack.

Cars because I travel a lot.
SUV’s because I haul a lot of film equipment which cannot be exposed to a lot of sun or rain.

cars. they are more fuel-efficient and i believe they are more stylish. trucks *are* good for hauling stuff, though — can’t dispute that!

vans are the best for long trips, cuz you can crash in the back when someone else drives. Around town, though, I’m good with a plain ole car.

I have driven a Ford Tempo, Ford Thunderbird, and a Ford Explorer on trips over 1000 miles, and the most comfortable vehicle was the Explorer

trucks do come in handy when hauling stuff and moving in/out. i like my little civic. good on gas, small, and manual five speed trans. just fun!

Cars and trucks…. I love both of mine equally.. it depends on my mood which one I drive. I haven’t driven my little Honda del sol in about two weeks. Lately I have been in my big lifted dodge dakota mood!!

That sounds like a good idea, but we got a 2005 Saturn Vue and it drives just like a car, but has the extra room in the back if you want to haul something. I think a truck is better for hauling as we want to keep it nice inside. But I really do like it. The Vue is a smaller version of a SUV.

My truck is comfortable for long trips. It’s a 2006 Chevy Extended Cab 4×4 Duramax Diesel. It gets good mileage too. I do a lot of hunting, hauling, pulling, and travelling in it. 4×4′s are almost a neccessity where I live which is in N. Minn. When I pass the cars on the road I get a feeling of security knowing it would take more to do harm to my truck than the cars that have a short front end or are made from a flimsy material. Sometimes it turns me into a bully on the road, but that’s only when there’s a slow driver in the left lane.
