Is there a site that estimates cost for home improvement projects?

Question by BlueFish: Is there a site that estimates cost for home improvement projects?
Best answer:
Answer by sensible_manIf there is one, it would/could be way off from actual costs. Wood prices change daily. Most products are now going higher due to transporting them by truck. You would be further ahead to find the products you want to use and price them yourself. If you are hiring it done, the prices can vary greatly.

Best answer:
Answer by Mom of 2 great boysNormally no because they have added their fee’s in the price, but sometimes I will because they have gone the extra mile to make me pleased.
I can tip anywhere from $ 20.00 up to $ 50.00.
