CorePower Yoga is Turning Up the Heat in Lakeview

Less than one month after opening its Bucktown studio, CorePower Yoga, known for its invigorating and unique yoga classes and lifestyle programs, opened its fifth Chicago location in Lakeview on Monday, Oct. 18, 2010.
CorePower Yoga â Lakeview is located at 945 W. George St., at the intersection of North Sheffield and West George. Conveniently accessed from the Wellington or Diversey El stops, CorePower Yoga â Lakeview offers a full schedule of yoga classes for all levels every day of the week.
âWe love our Chicago yoga community,â said Kelly Larmon, CorePower Yoga â Lakeview studio manager. âWe are so excited to open another studio and meet our fellow yogis and yoginis in Lakeview,â said Larmon.
CorePower Yoga â Lakeview features two large studio spaces, full menâs and womenâs locker rooms with showers and a retail boutique. The Lakeview studio will host Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings along with a range of lifestyle programs for continued growth and wellness.

All new students receive a FREE week of yoga.
CorePower Yoga has no start-up fees or contracts. Instead, various membership levels are available for purchase depending on how often a student wants to attend class. Drop-ins are always welcome and students never have to pre-register for any classes. All membership packages are transferrable to any CorePower Yoga location in the nation.
CorePower Yoga – Lakeview offers classes Monday-Thursday from 6:00 a.m.-8:15 p.m., Friday from 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. An online class schedule is available for every studio as well as the free CorePower Yoga iPhone schedule app.
CorePower Yoga suggests all new students start in a CorePower Yoga 1 class. This beginner-level class is designed to familiarize students with CorePower Yogaâs style of yoga in a non-heated environment and emphasizes proper breathing techniques and alignment.
All CorePower Yoga classes (with the exception of CorePower Yoga 1 classes) are held in heated rooms.
