Question by john k: Will the distributor from a big block Chevy engine work on a small block? Just wondering if anyone had any insight on this. Would the distributor out of a big block (454) engine work in a small block (350) engine? Both are Chevrolet engines. I can’t seem to find information on this elsewhere, so I thought I would ask the experts! Thanks for your time and knowledge.

Answer by jumbobretYes, but not because they are both Chevys. A small ford and big block Ford the distributors do not interchange. Even though they are both Fords.
