Question by SusieDarling: Stock Market Crisis – how are mutual funds affected by what is happening in the financial market? Can you lose all your money in mutual funds if things get bad enough?

Answer by Pray for Matt Bryant (Luke 6:37)It’s highly unlikely. It would have to be a really bad mutual fund, I mean REALLY BAD, for that to happen. Mutual Funds invest in many different companies, so all the companies it’s invested in would have to fail.

Answer by Fooker McJookerE-Trade is decent, but make sure you have at least 500 dollars to invest or they’ll take your money and close your account. They almost got me with that one. I was just trying em out with a couple hundred bucks and they sent me a notice that I almost missed in my in-box. Other than that, they’re a great service with fairly low commissions.
