Question by Marc K: Who funds awards ceremonies such as the MTV Awards? Does anyone know where funding comes from for large music awards ceremonies such as the MTV Awards, and the Grammys? If the companies only use their own funding for it, how come it isn’t just one big waste of money? How to organisations profit from large awards ceremonies? Are performers at these events paid to do performances? Please let me know.
Thanks.
